Weekend home
The weekend home is designed as a place that brings the family together. The barrier free, open-plan, allows the living, dining, and kitchen spaces mingle together, creating a warm and intimate environment. The design preserves the existing coconut trees and uses the entire site as part of the living experience, with gardens is designed as an extension of the house. Occupying less than 30% of the plot, the residence merges into to open green spaces. All the spaces in the house are visually connected, except for private areas such as the bedrooms and toilets, making the house feel open and spacious. Natural light, ventilation, and a seamless blend of open and sheltered spaces create a peaceful pavilion-like retreat surrounded by nature.
